Photography: Yanna Deligianni Cinemathesis<\/a><\/p><\/div>\n The Mitato of Amorgos was pleased and honoured to be among the organisations invited to attend the first European Network Meeting of the Programme for Culture and Engagement \u00a0LOKAL<\/a><\/strong>, organised from 21 to 24 April 2026 in \u015awidnica, Lower Silesia (Poland) by the European Cultural Foundation<\/a>\u00a0 , the Kulturstiftung des Bundes<\/a>\u00a0 (German Federal Cultural Foundation) and the bpb \u2013 Bundeszentral f\u00fcr politische Bildung<\/a>\u00a0 (German Federal Agency for Civic Education).<\/p>\n The programme LOKAL\u00a0supports cultural organisations by helping them form new partnerships, from local businesses to community groups<\/strong>, and develop collaborative artistic projects rooted in everyday life. This first network meeting marked the beginning of a wider European exchange, where experiences are shared across contexts to strengthen connection and cohesion.<\/p>\n During the meeting, we attended lectures and panel talks, took part in working groups and workshops, seizing the opportunity to communicate with people and organisations from all over the European continent. Furthermore, we presented the projects of the Mitato of Amorgos, in the context of participants\u2019 poster presentations.
