On 28 February 2021, a beautiful sunny day and as a farewell to winter, we organized the clearing of pathnumber 2, between Chora and Katapola.
This path follows the stream of Fonias and while descending, vegetation becomes denser. Although the route is quite popular, due to its central location and its small distance, it demands frequent clearing because of the vegetation, particularly in the areas of lower altitude, closer to the stream.
The small but energetic team of volunteers cleared a section of the path close to the area of Milies. In a next event, we will clear the connecting section between Milies and the stream,in order to facilitate the connection between route 2 and route 8, which continues towards Agia Varvara and Richti.
Many thanks to our volunteers!
